Overview
Vung Tau is the classic weekend seaside for Ho Chi Minh City locals — about two to three hours away. Hills meet the sea with Front Beach and Back Beach, plus the giant Christ statue and lighthouse viewpoints. The vibe is more urban-casual than Mui Ne: swim, eat seafood, climb for harbour lights at dusk. Perfect when time is short and you just want sea air.
